Phi Alpha Theta (History Honors Society and Club)

PAT Quad Day

Phi Alpha Theta - Epsilon Chapter

Phi Alpha Theta is a Registered Student Organization (RSO) at the University of Illinois and a chapter of the national honors society whose mission is to promote the study of history through the encouragement of research, good teaching, publication and the exchange of learning and ideas among historians.

Phi Alpha Theta also functions as a social history club for history enthusiasts to meet and form new friendships and expand their social, professional and intellectual networks. Phi Alpha Theta hosts academic, fundraising and social events organized by three different committees formed by club members and also works closely with the History Department on various events.

Phi Alpha Theta is open to students of all majors and minors- only a love of history is required. Visit our website for all sorts of information to include upcoming events: http://phialphathetauiuc.weebly.com/
