History, Philosophy and Newspaper Library

The History, Philosophy, and Newspaper Library is located on the second floor of the Main Library. It serves students of history, philosophy, religious studies, African American studies, and Jewish studies. It also serves anyone who uses historical newspapers for research. 

Rare Book and Manuscript Library

The Rare Book and Manuscript Library is located on the third floor of the Main Library. It has one of the largest collections of rare books and manuscripts in the United States. 

Undergraduate Library

The Undergraduate Library, located just east of the Main Library, is great for studying, working on group projects in reservable rooms, checking out technology (laptops, cameras, tablets, etc.) and more!

Main Library

Home to the Main Stacks, History, Philosophy, Newspaper Library, the Rare Book and Manuscript Library and more, the Main Library has a lot to offer students! Whether you're studying in one of the many large study spaces or asking questions at the reference desk, the Main Library is a great place to start when you need help with research.

Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum

Located in Springfield, IL, the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum has a large collection of all things related to Illinois history!

The Newberry Library

Located in down town Chicago, the Newberry Library is a research library with an extensive collection of rare books, maps, music, manuscripts and more, dating back centuries.
